My name is Tonya and I am a licensed teacher specializing in Early Childhood Education. I own and operate a licensed home daycare. My passions are children, art, teaching, and learning. In my spare time, I spend time with my family, work on my Master's in Education, and get creative. I also love camping and rafting.  I have two children, a boy (10) and girl (8) whom I love dearly and a very supportive and kind husband.

I started this business when my daughter was born with a lung condition. I taught at a big preschool for 10 years and was afraid to bring her into that environment.  Lots of kids, naturally brings lots of illness. I decided between my education and experience I was ready to start my own daycare. And here I am 8 years later!

 

Inviting you into my home is much more than bringing your child to a daycare.  It is a home away from home. I offer field trips, outside time, preschool activities, teach independence, foster creativity, and much more. It is important to me to spend one on one time with each child while allowing them to learn through experiences.
